Jura Litchfield

With over thirty years of experience as a teacher, conductor, and arts administrator, Jura has taught music at the elementary, middle, and high school levels worldwide. Jura has Kodály and Orff certification and degrees from Columbia University (Master of Arts) and Barnard College (Bachelor of Arts). She is well acquainted with piano pedagogical approaches and will work with families to apply these approaches to match the student’s goals, weekly practice time and learning style. When not at school Jura loves to play with her grandkids and go kayaking in the beautiful waters of the Pacific.
