Annie was raised in Mexico and graduated as a public accountant, but fell in love with the Montessori philosophy while her first child was in preschool, leading her to pursue a career in Education. Annie joined the Living Montessori team in 2011 as an Assistant Teacher in the Academy Primary program (3 to 6 years old). She was a natural from day one, and through hands-on experience, became a Lead Teacher in 2018. Annie is committed to the development and growth of every child that comes through her classroom and goes above and beyond to help her students and their families thrive at Living Montessori. Her creativity and understanding of the infant’s phase of development is reflected in her classroom, which provides a true foundation for a continued Montessori education.
Outside of school, Annie loves to cook and write her own recipes. She also enjoys taking vacations or relaxing with her husband and two sons.
