Enroll Your Child
We invite you to enroll your child at Living Montessori. Enrollment is open to all children from infant age (10 months old) through sixth grade. The first requirement in the admissions process is to schedule a tour. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and include an introduction to the program with an opportunity to ask questions, observe classroom activities, circle times and teacher-child interactions.

Requirements for the Primary Program
In order to join our Primary program, we require that a child is at least 3 years old, fully toilet trained, which means they do not need reminders, rarely has accidents and does not need assistance with toileting. In addition, the child should have basic independence skills such as changing his/her own clothes and shoes, cleaning up small messes and be able to separate from his/her parents fairly easily. Children should be able to ask for help, express needs and wants, follow directions, understand expectations and feel comfortable in a class with 20 children, ages 3 to 6.
Early Preschool Program
Living Montessori offers an Early Preschool program for children who do not meet the age requirement or have not developed the skills expected for a Primary program. Early Preschool classes have 14 children, ages 20 months to 4 years old. Children do not need to be completely toilet trained to join this program, and assistance with toileting as well as toilet training are a part of the structure. The Early Preschool program is designed to support children in building the skills necessary to be successful in our Primary classrooms, while also providing the foundations of Montessori similar to the Primary program. Along with curiosity, confidence, independence, social, emotional and communication skills are the foundation of a child’s success in the Montessori preschool classroom.
